Community Dinner

Saturday, December 5th

COVID-19 has made us all pivot. One of the pivots in this season is how we will do our upcoming holiday meal. This year will look a bit different. Instead of “coming together to eat”, we will be “going out to serve”. Because of the current restrictions, the anticipated meal cannot happen in a gathering place but requires us to prepare and then distribute the meal to our guests. Here are ways you can be a part of serving those in need and blessing their season with this holiday meal:

  • Volunteers in the kitchen for both prep and cooking.
  • Be trained to lead volunteer groups who will serve the meals.
  • Be on the serve teams handing out the meals.
  • Partnership by giving generously for this meal.
    $43.80 — Provides for 15 meals plus!
    $73.00 — Feeds 25 people in need!
$102.20 — Takes care of 35 meals and more!

Volunteers and donations are the fuel providing power to our ability together to serve with both a great meal and the gift of dignity during this holiday season. 100% of your donations stay here to serve, rescue, and transform those in greatest need by the grace of Jesus Christ. We are determined to not let COVID make us pivot in the wrong direction. We are going to continue to provide holiday resources, relationships, and connections to the homeless and unsheltered. Therefore, we at Hope Rescue Mission, along with your partnership, are going to “pivot” and serve the unsheltered and those experiencing homelessness during the upcoming Holiday season.
